Vivo Xplay5: 6 GB RAM phone first unveiled in China

While all eyes were directed by Samsung, LG, Sony and the rest of the companies that presented their new smartphones at Mobile World Congress, the Chinese company Vivo planned to launch a top smartphone called Xplay5. It marks a new standard for smartphones because it will be the first model on the market equipped with 6GB of RAM. Perhaps that will keep the top ranked first in several months, as the following announcements of competitors are expected only in summer.

Vivo released two editions Xplay5 model. The first is the "Flagship Edition", equipped with the chipset Snapdragon 820, 6GB of RAM DDR4, 128 GB of storage and an advanced audio called HiFi 3.0, which integrates two audio processors (DAC) SABRE Mobile and three chips OPA1612 for amplification . Next to it it was launched and a model Xplay5 core Snapdragon 652 chipset, 4 GB RAM and 128 GB of storage and the same audio chip CS4398 and AD4557. The external appearance of both models is identical, which is covered with curved glass on both sides and surrounded by a metal frame. 5.43 curved display "uses a panel AMOLED QHD resolution.



The Vivo Xplay5 standard is already available for pre-order in China at a price equivalent to 560 dollars, while the variant "Flagship" with 6GB RAM still was not for sale and does not have a release date set . The price for this model will be much higher: 4288 yuan, equivalent to 650 dollars. Color options for both models are golden and pink. Perhaps other phones that match the top performance model will be launched only in autumn, is already rumored to 6GB RAM integration model Samsung Galaxy Note 6.
