In mobile telephony, the beginning was the word and the voice. We then proceeded to SMS (Sort Message System), text in other words and, more recently, to instant messaging. Roger app wants to get back to voice.
After hitting a pole while walking and texting on the phone, Ricardo Vice Santos, a former employee at Spotify, thought it would be a good app that will send voicemail instead of texts would make our life much easier.
Just like a walkie-talkie, Roger has a large buttons and a little one: push to talk, push to listen. In theory, the application can be used by anyone. Basically, if you have it installed and want to send a voice message to someone from your contact list, after recording the message, the app will write your to the person a text containing a link to the application.
Roger app is still in beta, it is available for Android and iOS.
Take a quick look and download the app and let me know if is worth it or not.
